These are the steps we’ll follow as we help your child.
We begin by understanding the learner’s current level, curriculum, strengths, challenges and academic goals.
Review their academic history: We look at previous report cards, grades, examination results, past papers, assignments and other available academic records to understand their current performance and identify areas of strength and difficulty.
Identify learning needs: We consider the learner’s learning skills, study habits, confidence, pace of learning and areas where they may require additional support. Where appropriate, we also use an initial assessment to establish their current level.
Understand their goals: We discuss the learner’s academic goals, upcoming examinations, curriculum requirements and longer-term aspirations so that the programme is built around what they need to achieve.
We turn what we have learned about the student into a clear academic plan.
Map the curriculum: We identify the subjects, topics, skills and learning objectives that the learner needs to cover according to their curriculum, whether national or international.
Set learning priorities: Topics are organised according to the learner’s current level, upcoming requirements and identified learning gaps. Areas requiring more attention receive appropriate time and support.
Build the schedule: We establish a practical timetable covering lessons, independent study, assignments, revision and assessments while allowing the programme to adapt as the learner progresses.
Learning goes beyond covering content; learners are encouraged to understand and apply what they learn.
Learn through expert teaching: Tutors explain concepts clearly, adapt to the learner’s pace and use different approaches to develop genuine understanding.
Learn practically: Where appropriate, lessons incorporate experiments, demonstrations, projects, problem-solving, discussions, real-life examples and practical activities.
Connect learning to life: Learners are encouraged to apply classroom knowledge to real-world situations, helping them see the relevance and usefulness of what they are studying.
We continuously check understanding and use the results to improve learning.
Practise purposefully: Learners complete exercises, assignments, quizzes, tests and examination-style questions that reinforce what they have learned.
Track progress against objectives: Progress is considered against the learning objectives and targets established in the learning plan, allowing us to see which areas have been achieved and which still need attention.
Strengthen learning: Difficult concepts are revisited and reinforced, while learners who demonstrate strong understanding are given more challenging work.

Track progress: Assessment results and tutor observations help us identify specific concepts or skills that have not yet been fully understood.
Keep parents informed: Parents receive meaningful updates on what has been covered, how the learner is progressing and areas requiring continued attention.
